The day I moved all my stuff out of the dorms at school (the 10th) my dad was helping me get stuff into the eleveator. I was wearing my uber lame "John Paul Ringo George" shirt. So this dad and daughter gets into the elevator and the Dad says, "Great Band." And i said hmm yeah great band. The daughter just looked bored. So then the Dad says, "I just bought this great album called Rubber Soul, you should check it out." And my Dad and I started to giggle.
The daughter looked confused.
I think it would be a tragic thing to wear a Beatles shirt and not know the album Rubber Soul.
God I love the Beatles.

So my friend Jenni from escuela is from New Jersey. At first, she did not like me. I saw her one night when everyone was gathered to watch Grey's Anatomy. She was wearing some cool threads. Approx one week later, I waved to her whilst at an EXTREMELY long production of "Into the Woods"... (a bit subpar.. dont you think Jen?) and she did not wave back. She claims that she did not recognize me. I think she is lying to make me feel better. But that's ok.
Our friendship grew when I oohed and aahed over her spectacular taste in music,movies, clothing, jewlery, and her wicked cool sense of humor.
She grew to accept that I would be sticking around for a while.
So thanks Jenni for making my freshman year of college a little less awkward, strange, and painful.
*isn't this sounding like a very longwinded twin-esque facebook post. OMG HERES TO COOKIES, BEING CHUBSTERS, AND AND AND HAVING THE SAME PARENTS. LOLZ. CANT WAIT TO GO TO (insert painfully gross country/place/restaurant/musical act. )
Three Cheers for Jenni! She is Quality.
And as much as it pains me to say so... Wes Anderson is all yours. GAH THE BIRDS.

I had my first day of tutoring at the Potomac Lighthouse Public Charter School today. Ummmm tiring.
I was up at 8 gone until 4:30 and then had class at 5:20.
Oh and I only got about 4 hours of sleep last night.
I am doing all of my laundry now.
My roommate woke up at 2 pm today and is already going to bed. HA. Loveit.
My brother is visiting this weekend.
At least I get to nap tomorrow :)
Spring break in approx 15 days.

My friends and I toured an apartment complex 5 minutes away from AU on saturday.
Beautiful. Wonderful. Excellent.
My friends Jenni, Anne, Amanda, and Katherine are moving in for the Fall 2006 semester. Claire and I will most likely be living in the suites on campus. Katherine and Amanda are going abroad in the spring so Claire and I will probably be moving in with Jenni and Anne.
These apartments were wonderful... except they do not allow cosignors. I was reeeeallly upset. I'm sure there is a loophole.. and we have other apartment options.. but this apartment was the SHIT. Pool, Gym, Two and a half baths, oven, dishwasher, washer dryer in apartment... all in all an amazing place.
Most importantly, living in the apartments would ultimately be 200 dollars less expensive than living in the dorms.
I'm not so much of a dorm person.
I guess I will talk to my dad about the whole apartment thing and hope that he has a brilliant idea.
Today was ok. One of my classes was cancelled and I got a Menangitis shot. I'm glad I got the menangitis shot.. I felt like I was the only person who didn't get one.
Tomorrow I start D.C. reads over on U Street. It's a charter school. I am minorly excited.
Oh... yeah and I have two 5 page papers due on Thurs and Friday.. Ooops...
Yeah me and school do not mix well.
Stevie brought over some champagne tonight and we had fun talking and bullshitting. I love/hate Steve.

I realized how much I appreciate my school today after my Mass Media class. We maybe have the best guest speakers I have ever heard of. Being in D.C. has definite perks. I like my little metropolis.
I'm glad I went to class today.
